THE PREDICTION
While much of the attention and fanfare will be on the Manchester Derby in the other semi-final, this Carabao Cup match offers plenty of intrigue with Jose Mourinho’s Spurs taking on Premier League hopefuls Brentford. The visitors have put together a superb 16-game unbeaten run in all competitions and they have already accounted for four Premier League opponents in their cup run so far. Mourinho will be aware of that though and should field a relatively strong side as he searches for his first silverware as Spurs manager. He has even gone on to say that this is his most important game since taking the reigns so the likes of Kane and Son should start, meaning they should just about have enough to see off what is likely to be a spirited Brentford resistance.
