THE PREDICTION
Standard Liege have won just one of their last five matches over all competitions, though, crucially it was a 1-0 victory over Belgian giants Club Brugge in the Belgian Cup quarter-finals. Otherwise, they travel to AS Eupen for the semi-finals here in dire form and lost their most recent match 1-0 away to relegation-threatened Excel Mouscron in the league last Sunday. AS Eupen have been in much the better shape of late and come into this semi-final on a four-match unbeaten streak including a crazy 3-3 draw at home to OH Leuven last Saturday. This is a difficult knockout match to side with considering who Liege beat in the last round and they have won three and drawn one of the last four meetings between the two sides with AS Eupen last winning this fixture back in 2018.
