Fiorentina vs Hellas Verona prediction

Even after the reluctant sacking of Stefano Pioli last month and the appointment of Paolo Vanoli, Fiorentina have somehow remained winless and remain rock-bottom in the Serie A table. I Viola did, though, manage to get themselves a 2-1 victory over Ukrainian champions Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Europa Conference League in midweek.

They now face a Hellas Verona side that have now got themselves off the mark with a surprise 3-1 defeat of Atalanta at the Marcantonio Bentegodi last week, courtesy of goals from Rafik Belghali, Giovane and Adrian Bernede. They now sit just above Fiorentina but can be leapfrogged this weekend.

If Fiorentina don’t win this weekend then there will be concerns over if they ever will, whether than when, but the fallen giants really finally should get three points.
