Filip Misolic vs Yunchaokete Bu prediction
Filip Misolic qualified for the French Open after victories against Liam Draxl, Lukas Neumayer and second seed Alexander Shevchenko. Just two weeks ago, the Hungarian won a Challenger event in Prague without the drop of a set. He also enjoyed some moderate success on the ATP Tour, as he reached the quarter-finals of the Bucharest Open having qualified, losing to Flavio Cobolli in a close two set match with the Italian going on to win the tournament.
Yunchaokete Bu suffered first-round exits in Bucharest, Monte-Carlo, Madrid and Rome. However, he dropped down to the Challenger Tour and managed to reel off a few victories on the spin as he made the final in Turin. He would go on to lose to Alexander Bublik in the final in straight sets. Bu was unable to continue that momentum in his most recent event in Hamburg as he lost in the first-round to Frances Tiafoe.
Bu is ranked far higher than Misolic but the Chinese player has had a very tough time of things on clay with the exception of one Challenger. The Hungarian has 21 wins on clay this season compared to Bu’s six, and we think Misolic is worth a punt in this one.
