Everton vs Nottingham Forest prediction

Everton are creeping up the table nicely right now having won three of their last four Premier League games, most recently recording a 0-1 victory at Bournemouth on Tuesday thanks to Jack Grealish's second-half strike.

The Toffees lost 1-4 to Newcastle in their last home game though, so David Moyes will be keen to see his side deliver a better performance at Hill Dickinson Stadium, where they have experienced some mixed results in their first season on their new turf.

Nottingham Forest are another improved side, with Sean Dyche's appointment considerably lifting their performances. They have lost just one of their last seven games in all competitions, most recently beating basement-dwellers Wolves 0-1 at Molineux in their midweek fixture.

After leaking four in their last home fixture, Everton will be looking to keep things tight here, while Nottingham Forest have improved their defensive resolve considerably under the ever-pragmatic Dyche. Chances are likely to be at a premium, with a low-scoring encounter on the cards.

Everton vs Nottingham Forest tip: Under 2.5 goals
