Essex Eagles vs Surrey prediction
The Essex Eagles come into this one on the back of four victories and three defeats in their seven T20 Blast games so far. Essex most recently succumbed to a 130-run hammering at the hands of the Northamptonshire Steelbacks, conceding 238-6 before being bowled out for 108.
After winning the South Group last season, Surrey will want to go a few steps further than their quarter-final exit. The big spending Londoners were shaky but returned to T20 Blast action with a seven-wicket defeat of the Sussex Sharks at the weekend.
Essex will be reeling from their loss the other day and such a turnaround so quickly seems unlikely with a Surrey victory to be expected here.
