Derbyshire Falcons, coached by Mickey Arthur, were extremely unfortunate to lose their opening two games before then producing two excellent performances to defeat both the Leicestershire Foxes and then the Notts Outlaws, with Martin Andersson currently the most in-form player in the country.

With the form of Andersson, as well as Jack Morley and Matt Montgomery, Derby look a serious threat for this competition and they have to be viewed as favourites down in Chelmsford.
