Essendon come into this one on the back of having managed just one victory with 14 defeats as they sit rock-bottom in the 2026 AFL table. Their most recent outing saw them succumb to a 14-point loss to North Melbourne last week.
They now face a St Kilda side that are still pushing for the top ten and the playoff places as they come into this one on the back of a 22-point loss to the Western Bulldogs. The Saints have now lost four of their last five matches.
Despite that average run of form, St Kilda have played well against very good teams and they will fancy themselves to come out on top at Marvel Stadium in Docklands on Sunday.
