England vs Ireland prediction

Ireland will have their work well and truly cut out to get a positive result out of this game. They are running into an England side with new-found momentum after a slow start to the English season and Danni Wyatt-Hodge’s ‘Mummy Hundred’ helped power them past Sri Lanka in the competition’s first match, the hosts winning by a whopping 87 runs over Sri Lanka.

Another player who enjoyed a decent amount of time at the crease was Nat Sciver-Brunt. An excellent foil for Wyatt-Hodge with an unbeaten 46 from 22 balls, Sciver-Brunt looked ominously good and she’s certainly a player for the big tournaments. Ireland’s bowlers should have no answer to Sciver-Brunt if she’s on her game and backing the England captain to score over 28.5 match runs batting a number three is a move worth making.

England vs Ireland tip: Nat Sciver-Brunt to score 28.5 match runs
