El Salvador vs Suriname prediction

In the opening couple of matches in Group A of the third round of CONCACAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, there was just one goal scored as El Salvador faced Guatemala and Panama took on Suriname.

El Salvador come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Guatemala the other day at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City. Second-half substitute Harold Osorio scored the only goal of he game in the 79th minute for El Salvador. In the other match, at the Dr. Franklin Essed Stadium, Suriname managed to pull off a surprise goalless draw against the Panamanians.

Suriname have given themselves a real chance of winning Group A, and they should make themselves difficult to beat in another low-scoring encounter this week.

El Salvador vs Suriname tip: Under 2.5 goals
