Egypt vs Nigeria prediction

Egypt come into this one on the back of an impressive year or so as the Pharaohs prepare for next summer’s 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Egyptians’ B team recently suffered group stage elimination from the FIFA Arab Cup. Their first-team played out two hard-fought and underwhelming friendlies last month, losing to Uzbekistan and drawing with Cape Verde.

The Nigerian Football Federation, fresh off the back of a defeat on penalties to the Democratic Republic of Congo last month, meaning they will not be in North America next summer, have asked FIFA to downgrade this friendly, amid an ongoing pay dispute.

Egypt will not have the likes of star men Mohamed Salah or Omar Marmoush, bit their organisation and calmness still marks them out as favourites.

Egypt vs Nigeria tip: Egypt to win & under 3.5 goals
