In their opening four matches of the campaign, East Bengal have managed two victories and a draw thus far. The home team most recently shared a goalless draw with Goa in their most recent outing, last week.
The Kerala Blasters have started the season really poorly, as one of just two sides, alongside Mohammedan, to have succumbed to four defeats from four. They most recently succumbed to a slender 1-0 defeat at home to Chennaiyin.
East Bengal aren’t necessarily a side expected to sustain their impressive start but, with home advantage against such out of form opposition, they should be sided with here.
