Durham have won three and lost five of their eight T20 Blast matches thus far as they drift from the top two in the North Group, having been beaten by five wickets by the Yorkshire Vikings in a high-scoring encounter at Headingley.
The Notts Outlaws have turned their white-ball form around in their recent matches, sitting at the top of the North Group with six wins and three losses. Their sixth win came off the final ball in a chase against Lancashire Lightning at Trent Bridge the other day.
The Notts Outlaws have a deep squad and are now seemingly capable of battling on multiple fronts, which was a worry early on in the season, and so they have to be viewed as favourites once again here.
