The Derbyshire Falcons didn’t play on Friday night as they return to action in the North Group. Their most recent outing in the T20 Blast saw them succumb to a ten-run loss to the Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge, following a defeat to the Essex Eagles.
They now face a Yorkshire Vikings that come into this one on the back of a dramatic defeat to a strong Hampshire Hawks side at Southampton. They were bowled out for 150 with the Hawks nicking a victory with one ball and two wickets to spare.
Yorkshire have been good throughout the campaign with Jonny Bairstow spearheading them, while Derbyshire’s results haven’t necessarily reflected their performances so a high-scoring clash would be a decent bet here.
