Mickey Arthur’s side have been strong and that was the case the other day against Yorkshire, but undermined by results, with even that good performance ending in a tie.
Lancashire come into this one on the back of an impressive five-wicket defeat of the Leicestershire Foxes the other day with a star-studded side for one game only, featuring the likes of Phil Salt and Jos Buttler as well as Luke Wood and Saqib Mahmood.
Salt, Buttler and Wood have now departed for international duty once again and Derbyshire have played the better cricket of these two and so should be sided with here.
