H2H

Last meeting: Peter Wright 8-5 Justin Pipe (July 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Adam Hunt
W2, L1
Last meeting: Peter Wright 6-2 Adam Hunt (May 2019 – Players Championship)

PROSPECTS
Peter Wright returns to action having featured on the opening night of the PDC Home Tour. Although he didn’t qualify on that occasion, he will be a stronger force now that the format is more familiar and he will be perhaps even more focussed on claiming a spot in the last 32.

KRZYSZTOF RATAJSKI

2020 PDC HOME TOUR
Previous results
(91.75) Krzysztof Ratajski 5-3 Toni Alcinas (90.20)
(90.79) Krzysztof Ratajski 2-5 Jamie Hughes (96.58)

H2H
vs Peter Wright
W1, L8
Last meeting: Peter Wright 6-4 Krzysztof Ratajski (March 2020 – Euro Tour)

vs Justin Pipe
W0, L3
Last meeting: Justin Pipe 6-4 Krzysztof Ratajski (Sept 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Adam Hunt
W0, L1
Last meeting: Adam Hunt 6-5 Krzysztof Ratajski (Sept 2015 – Euro Tour)

PROSPECTS
Krzysztof Ratajski’s previous PDC Home Tour appearance was fairly recent with the Polish number one having competed in Group 24 where he was pipped to the top spot by Jamie Hughes. Ratajski does have a negative head-to-head record against all of the three other players in this group but I wouldn’t let that be a big negative when considering his chances of success.

JUSTIN PIPE

2020 PDC HOME TOUR
Previous results
(91.05) Justin Pipe 5-1 Maik Kuivenhoven (87.50)
(98.22) Glen Durrant 5-3 Justin Pipe (96.23)
(85.18) Justin Pipe 5-2 Vincent van der Meer (76.91)

Stats
Average – 90.80
180s – 3

H2H
vs Peter Wright
W5, L10
Last meeting: Peter Wright 8-5 Justin Pipe (July 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Krzysztof Ratajski
W3, L0
Last meeting: Justin Pipe 6-4 Krzysztof Ratajski (Sept 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Adam Hunt
N/A

PROSPECTS
Justin Pipe competed well when participating in Group 19 having won two out of three matches, with his only defeat coming against Glen Durrant in a competitive encounter. Even though he might not win this group, he will be a tricky opponent for any of the other three participants.

ADAM HUNT

2020 PDC HOME TOUR
Previous results
(95.97) Jonny Clayton 5-2 Adam Hunt (90.24)
(85.38) Adam Hunt 5-3 David Pallett (81.00)
(82.80) Richard North 1-5 Adam Hunt (88.77)

Stats
Average – 87.80
180s – 4

H2H
vs Peter Wright
W1, L2
Last meeting: Peter Wright 6-2 Adam Hunt (May 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Krzysztof Ratajski
W1, L0
Last meeting: Adam Hunt 6-5 Krzysztof Ratajski (Sept 2015 – Euro Tour)

vs Justin Pipe
N/A

PROSPECTS
Adam Hunt did well enough to finish in second place behind Jonny Clayton on his last appearance in the PDC Home Tour, but this is a much tougher group and although he will be competitive, it will be considered a surprise if he does match that performance.

THREE PICKS FROM 3 DART ANALYST

Peter Wright -2.5 handicap vs Adam Hunt

This format can bring about some surprising results but Wright has the quality to be able to avoid an upset with a strong performance against the lowest ranked player in the group.

Over 7.5 legs – Peter Wright vs Krzysztof Ratajski

This is the most eagerly awaited match of the evening between the pair who are expected to battle it out for top spot. Wright has a good record against Ratajski but the Polish star has beaten Wright previously in 2020 and I expect a close contest.

Checkout of over 104.5 in the Peter Wright vs Krzysztof Ratajski match

The match between Wright and Ratajski is expected to go deep so there should be plenty of attempts at combination checkouts for both players and it will not be a shock if a big finish is landed.
