H2H
vs John Henderson
W1, L2
Last meeting: John Henderson 6-5 Danny Noppert (Apr 2019 – Players Championship)

Last meeting: Cristo Reyes 6-4 Danny Noppert (July 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Ryan Meikle
W2, L0
Last meeting: Danny Noppert 6-3 Ryan Meikle (Feb 2020 – Players Championship)

PROSPECTS
Danny Noppert returns to PDC Home Tour action as the highest ranked player in this group. On his previous foray, he narrowly missed out on qualification from Group 22 on leg difference behind Jesus Noguera. The Dutchman is a slight favourite to top the table but it’s a tough looking competitive section.

JOHN HENDERSON

(88.05) John Henderson 3-5 Damon Heta (84.23)

H2H
vs Danny Noppert
W2, L1
Last meeting: John Henderson 6-5 Danny Noppert (Apr 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Cristo Reyes
W3, L0
Last meeting: John Henderson 6-2 Cristo Reyes (Feb 2019 – Players Championship)

vs Ryan Meikle
W4, L1
Last meeting: Ryan Meikle 6-4 John Henderson (June 2018 – Players Championship)

PROSPECTS
John Henderson won two out of his three matches in Group 17 but his defeat against Australia’s Damon Heta proved to be the pivotal result and led to Hendo having to settle for second place. The popular Scotsman will be hoping to go one better and this occasion and he has a winning head-to-head record against all of the three other players in this group but that’s not certain to be a significant advantage.

CRISTO REYES

PROSPECTS
Cristo Reyes is the only player from this quartet who is making his PDC Home Tour debut. The Spaniard didn’t enjoy a great start to 2020 on the PDC circuit and his ranking has slipped over the last couple of years but he is a former top 32 player and is certainly not out of the running for top spot in this particular group.

RYAN MEIKLE

(93.82) Gabriel Clemens 5-3 Ryan Meikle (90.07)
(86.97) Ryan Meikle 5-1 Gavin Carlin (86.85)

vs Cristo Reyes

PROSPECTS
Ryan Meikle is the lowest ranked player in the group but is not here just to make up the numbers. He performed well on his appearance in Group 7 where he won two out of his three matches – including a victory against the group winner Jelle Klaasen.

THREE PICKS FROM 3 DART ANALYST

Over 7.5 legs – John Henderson vs Cristo Reyes

This is a competitive looking group in which I think a lot of the matches have the potential to be close and I’m expecting this clash between Henderson and Reyes to last at least over 7.5 legs.

John Henderson to score the most 180s vs Danny Noppert

Henderson hit a decent amount of 180s on his previous PDC Home Tour appearance and he looks to have the potential to outscore Noppie in their encounter.

John Henderson to win the group

There are no clear favourites in this group and it’s not easy to pick a winner but from a value point of view I think Henderson is worth looking at. He has proven calibre and if he finds his rhythm then he has a good chance of progressing.
