PROSPECTS
Chris Dobey’s career is on the rise. He is on course to make a breakthrough into the top 16 in the PDC Order of Merit and starts as the favourite to win this group, but it’s a tough section and he will have to play well to top the table.

PROSPECTS
Hong Kong’s Kai Fan Leung produced some excellent performances and high averages when playing at Q School in January. His displays on the circuit since then have further proven his quality and he isn’t here just to make up the numbers.

PROSPECTS
Irish youngster Ciaran Teehan has plenty of potential but is still in the formative stages of his career on the senior tour. He will be under no pressure in this tournament and won’t be a pushover but he might not have the consistency to challenge for the qualifying spot.

THREE PICKS FROM 3 DART ANALYST

Over 7.5 legs - Ron Meulenkamp vs Kai Fan Leung

This promises to be a tight contest between two players who will be featuring in their opening match of the tournament. Over 7.5 legs in the match looks to be a good possibility.

Chris Dobey to win and score the most 180s vs Ciaran Teehan

Dobey has some previous experience of this format having played in one of the test events. I think he will hit the ground running with a win and he’s also capable of topping the 180 count in doing so.

Chris Dobey to win the group

It’s a very interesting group and should be very competitive but Dobey has the edge in quality over the other players and I’m siding with him to finish in first place.
