Daniil Medvedev vs Sebastian Baez prediction

Daniil Medvedev continued his winning run with a comfortable opener against Alejandro Tabilo.

The Dubai champion looked to have plenty in the tank as he clinched a swashbuckling  6-4 6-2 win over the Chilean.

The 11th seed now meets Seb Baez for a second time after the Argentine upset 22nd seed Jiri Lehecka 6-4 6-1. 

Medvedev won in straight sets in their maiden clash at the 2023 US Open and his hard court game is much stronger than Baez’s. 

It’s tough to make a case for the world number 53 to conjure up another shock with Med appearing to be back to somewhere near his best.
