Damir Dzumhur vs Adrian Mannarino prediction
Damir Dzumhur was unable to make a deep run at the Cagliari Challenger last week as he retired in the first-round against Emilio Nava. The Bosnian was a set and a break down. He did show some form in Bucharest at the start of last month, as he reached the quarter-finals before a loss to Botic van de Zandschulp. However, he has lost 15 of his 22 matches in 2026 so far.
Adrian Mannarino will be hoping to end a six-match losing run when he begins his campaign in Rome. The Frenchman has not won a match since the first-round of the Miami Open back in March. Mannarino did force a deciding set against Jesper de Jong in Cagliari, but he ended up losing in three.
Mannarino does lead the head-to-head 3-1, but they have never played against each other on clay. This is the veteran’s weakest surface by quite some distance, and Dzumhur will be the favourite.
Damir Dzumhur vs Adrian Mannarino tip: Damir Dzumhur to win 2-0
