At the neutral venue of the Ajdarabet Arena in Georgia, CSKA Sofia ran out 3-0 winners in the first-leg last week. Maks Ebong, Leandro Godoy and Joel Zwarts scored the goals for the Bulgarians in that one.
CSKA Sofia entertainingly defeated Derry City in the first qualifying round before edging past Qarabag on penalties a couple of weeks ago. Maccabi Tel-Aviv were impressive in their second qualifying round tie, defeating Sheriff Tiraspol by six goals to nil on aggregate.
