Crystal Palace continue to underwhelm but have been improved in the last month of the Premier League season as they welcome Leeds United to Selhurst Park in Croydon.

Crystal Palace preview: Mid-table Palace

Oliver Glasner is set to depart Crystal Palace this summer and he could well leave with a third piece of silverware but Palace were frustrated with a goalless draw in the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 tie against AEK Larnaca in midweek.

The Eagles have been in improved form of late with their most recent outing in the league being their third victory in five matches as they came from behind to defeat Tottenham Hotspur by three goals to one away from home.

Leeds preview: In the fight

Daniel Farke has been close to seeing Leeds United easily propel themselves into the middle-of-the-table but a few dodgy results and too many draws leaves them precariously hovering just above the bottom three and the relegation places.

That is because of a recent 1-0 defeat at home to Sunderland in the Premier League, a few days before hammering Norwich City by three goals to nil at Elland Road in the fifth round of the FA Cup last weekend.

Crystal Palace team news: Munoz should be fine

Oliver Glasner has said he is hopeful on Colombia international wing-back Daniel Munoz, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury ahead of the weekend.

Jean-Philippe Mateta returned to full fitness off the bench in midweek to boos from Palace supporters. Maxence Lacroix has returned from suspension.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Canvot; Munoz, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell; Sarr, Strand Larsen, Guessand

Unavailable: Doucoure (Injured), Nketiah (Injured)

Leeds team news: Okafor a doubt

Switzerland international attacker Noah Okafor has been sidelined for a while now and he remains a doubt for this one as he tries to work his way back to fitness.

His fellow attacker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is also a doubt for this weekend but Daniel Farke is a lot more hopeful on the former Everton striker.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Darlow; Justin, Rodon, Struijk; Bogle, Stach, Ampadu, Gudmundsson; Aaronson, Nmecha; Calvert-Lewin

Unavailable:

Questionable: Okafor (Injured), Calvert-Lewin (Injured)

Crystal Palace vs Leeds prediction

As was shown against AEK Larnaca, and has been on display throughout their European campaign, Palace really struggle against teams that simply don’t want the ball and will sit back. Leeds can do both, and that has been a part of their success this season. That pragmatism should lead to them trying to play on the counter-attack but a lack of quality still makes them difficult to back with a low-scoring encounter to be expected in south London.

Crystal Palace vs Leeds tip: Under 2.5 goals
