Key stats

  • These teams have already met once in this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League, with AEK Larnaca winning 1–0 in London on Matchday 2. That remains their only previous encounter, and it is also Crystal Palace’s sole UEFA meeting with a Cypriot club. AEK Larnaca’s only other matches against English opposition came in the 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16, when they lost 6-0 on aggregate to West Ham (0-2 home, 0-4 away).
  • Crystal Palace have lost only two of their ten previous UEFA matches this season (W5 D3).
  • Crystal Palace have won their two previous UEFA two-legged ties this season.
  • Crystal Palace have kept five clean sheets in their ten previous UEFA matches this season.
  • Crystal Palace have won three of their last four matches in all competitions (L1).
  • AEK Larnaca are unbeaten in their last six UEFA Conference League matches (W3 D3) with five clean sheets in that run.
  • AEK Larnaca have won only one of their last nine UEFA away matches (D3 L5), that sole victory being their 1-0 success at Crystal Palace on Matchday 2 of this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League.
  • AEK Larnaca have won five of their last eight competitive matches (D1 L2).

Crystal Palace vs AEK Larnaca prediction

Oliver Glasner is set to depart Crystal Palace at the end of this season but the Austrian has an opportunity to deliver a third piece of silverware to a club that were previously winless if they were to go on and win the UEFA Europa Conference League this season.

AEK Larnaca come into this one on the back of an extremely impressive UECL campaign thus far, including a defeat of Palace in Croydon back in the autumn. The Cypriots have disappointed domestically as they sit third in the Cypriot First Division table.

With their home advantage, Palace will be expected to come out on top, albeit, as shown earlier this year, AEK Larnaca will be expected to keep the tie alive for the second-leg – wherever that may be played.
