THE PREDICTION

Bangla Tigers suffered a hugely damaging loss in their quest to build some momentum for the next phase of the T10 League as they were on the end of a heavy defeat against Deccan Gladiators. The Tigers went down by 62 runs as they were skittled for just 78 in their pursuit of 141. The bowling unit struggled as they managed just one wicket in their ten overs before their woeful effort with the bat as just three players managed to reach double figures. They will look to avoid a third straight loss as they take on a Northern Warriors outfit that will bow out of the tournament after this game having managed just two wins from their nine matches so far. The Warriors also suffered a second consecutive loss as they were on the end of a ten-wicket defeat to The Chennai Braves with some poor efforts with the bat leading to their downfall. Moeen Ali, Upul Tharanga and Rovman Powell contributed 88 of the Warriors’ 108 runs before they failed to take a wicket in response. It has been a terrible tournament for the Warriors and they will be eager to end their campaign on a high but with the Tigers needing to get back to winning ways ahead of the knockout stage, they are the preference to prevail.
