THE PREDICTION
Delhi Bulls made it two wins from two to begin proceedings as they
won a low-scoring contest with Bangla Tigers. The Bulls did an excellent
job of restricting the Tigers to just 69/6 and in doing so, ensuring
they were the first team to fail to make it to treble figures with the
bat. Fazalhaq Farooqi was excellent as he finished with figures of 2-8
to set up the six-wicket win and the pressure will be on The Chennai
Braves who were second best in their opening contest. The Braves
struggled with the ball and despite wonderful efforts from Angelo Perera
and Ravi Bopara who each recorded a half-century, they fell short in
their run chase by 24 runs. They are capable of responding here but the
Bulls have to start as favourites and they can justify their favouritism
by winning this.
