The Moroccan picked up his first tour-level win of his career in the previous round, but he was blown away by Moutet who won 6-0 6-2 after just an hour and four minutes. His opponent is Marco Trungelliti, who is in the quarter-finals of an ATP event for the first time since 2018 as he beat Kamil Majchrzak in straight sets. Nevertheless, he now enters the top 100 in the live rankings for the first time.
