The prediction

Collingwood come into this one on the back of a narrow four-point loss to the Western Bulldogs in their most recent outing, last weekend. The Victorians have now won just one of their last five matches as they sit outside of the top ten and the playoffs.

Melbourne most recently suffered their own loss as they suffered a 49-point hammering at the hands of the GWS Giants. Melbourne have now suffered back-to-back losses, albeit do just about remain tucked inside the top ten.

Melbourne are in average form, while Collingwood have actually been playing well despite recent results and so siding with Collingwood may well be a decent value bet for this one at the MCG.
