The prediction

Collingwood come into this one on the back of a 77-point victory against Essendon the other day. That made it back-to-back victories as they edged past what appears to be a hapless Carlton side the week before.

Hawthorn have won six of their opening seven matches, continuing their fine form with an impressive and comfortable victory over Gold Coast in Round 7, making it six victories on the bounce for the Hawks.

Coached by Sam Mitchell, Hawthorn have got back towards their best this season and they will fancy themselves to get another win at the MCG on Friday.
