The American lost in last year’s Rome final before triumphing at Roland Garros, and she heads into the 2026 iteration of the tournament having once again finished as runner-up in the Italian capital.
The world number four will take on her compatriot Taylor Townsend first up and she will be confident her form and level will be too much for the world number 73.
