Caroline Dolehide vs Sorana Cirstea prediction

Caroline Dolehide has not managed to make a key breakthrough in her clay court events this season. She has lost in the second-round of Charleston, Madrid and most recently in Saint-Malo, where she lost to Leolia Jeanjean in three sets despite being the fourth seed.

Sorana Cirstea has barely featured in the singles during the past month as she withdrew from her WTA 125k event in Oeiras before she was due to face Francesca Jones and then lost in the first-round of the Madrid Open to Hailey Baptiste in a tight three-set match. She did pick up her first WTA 1000 title in the doubles however, as she and Anna Kalinskaya took the title. 

That success in the doubles could translate to better singles performances from Cirstea for the rest of the clay season. We back her to overcome Dolehide in three sets and make it through to the second-round.
