The prediction
Carlton were in a woeful state before the departure of coach Michael Voss a couple of months ago. They then enjoyed six successive victories but now head into this weekend on the back of defeats to Hawthorn and then Collingwood.
They now face a Gold Coast SUNS side that sit a victory behind Carlton, GWS Giants and St Kilda, with the latter sitting tenth and in the play-off places. Gold Coast were beaten by the Western Bulldogs in a close contest last week.
Gold Coast have now succumbed to eight successive defeats and Carlton will believe they can get themselves back on track, especially with their home advantage at the Marvel Stadium in Docklands.
