Round six of the 2026 AFL season begins with the biggest rivalry in the league as Carlton face Collingwood at Princes Park in Carlton North this week.

The prediction

Coached by Michael Voss, Carlton have badly struggled at the start of this season with just four points collected from five games. Last time out, they succumbed to a 28-point defeat to Adelaide down in South Australia, making it three defeats on the spin.

Collingwood have not fared too much better, albeit did manage to win two of their opening three matches before back-to-back losses; first away at Brisbane in a 54-point hammering and then in a tight, low-scoring loss to Fremantle last week.

Carlton and head coach Voss are under pressure here but after a performance that many have deemed to be their best of the season last week, backing them to pinch the derby could be good value.
