Cardiff vs Oxford prediction

After Cardiff City’s 2-0 defeat away to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Good Friday, which extended the Bluebirds’ winless run of form to five matches, Cardiff decided to part company with Omar Riza and he has been replaced by experienced player Aaron Ramsey, who will oversee their final three games in charge as they seek to avoid Championship relegation.

They now face an Oxford United side that, following the fairly controversial appointment of Gary Rowett who replaced Des Buckingham, have surprised all by looking as though they will stay up this season. The U’s most recently did suffer a 1-0 loss at home to league leaders Leeds United due to a first-half strike from Israel international attacker Manor Solomon.

Cardiff may well be boosted by the appointment of Ramsey but from a purely pragmatic standpoint, siding with Oxford in a likely low-scoring affair appears the way to go for this one.

Cardiff vs Oxford tip: Oxford to win & under 3.5 goals
