Carabobo vs Universidad de Chile prediction

Venezuelan side Carabobo, with Diego Merino at the helm, were always expected to struggle in this season’s 2025 CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores group stage campaign and they have began with back-to-back defeats without scoring. The Venezuelans most recently shared a goalless draw with Deportivo La Guaira in the Venezuelan top-flight the other day.

They now face an Universidad de Chile side that, in contrast, have started their CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores season with back-to-back victories against Botafogo and Estudiantes. They eased past La Serena by three goals to one in the league the other day and they have now suffered just one defeat in their last seven matches across all competitions.

Despite the fact that they are away from home, Universidad de Chile are expected to make it three wins from three in what should be a very tough Group A in this tournament.
