Cameron Norrie vs Novak Djokovic prediction

Cameron Norrie broke new ground at Roland Garros, as he made the fourth-round for the first time after defeating fellow Briton Jacob Fearnley in straight sets. Norrie made a strong start but was pegged back in the second and yet still managed to come away with a 6-3 7-6 6-2 victory. 

He now faces 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic in the next stage. Djokovic continued his faultless record at the tournament so far, claiming yet another straight sets win as he defeated Filip Misolic 6-3 6-4 6-2. It was complete domination from the Serb, who gave up just one break point and wasn’t broken during the entire contest. He is now on a seven-match winning streak after winning the Geneva Open.

Djokovic beat Norrie on the way to winning that tournament a little over a week ago and currently holds a 5-0 lead in the head-to-head, defeating the Briton in the fourth-round of the Italian Open two years ago in their other encounter on clay.

Norrie is in good form and will be Djokovic’s toughest test of the tournament so far, but the three-time French Open winner should still comfortably make it through.
