Cameron Norrie vs Lorenzo Musetti prediction

Cam Norrie avenged his recent loss to fellow Brit Billy Harris to ease into the second round in Wshington.

The British number two saw off the qualifier 6-3 7-6 and will now face second seed Lorenzo Musetti.

The Italian’s excellent year took a sour turn at Wimbledon where he excited in the first round, but he does lead Norrie 2-0 in the head-to-head.

Both of those matches were on clay two years ago and the fact this is on an American hard court against the improving Brit gives him some scope of pushing for the upset.

There’s certainly an opportunity for Norrie to attack the Musetti one-hander with his heavy topspin forehand and we can see him taking this one the distance.
