For Madagascar, the equation here is very simple. Beat Burkina Faso and they will go through as Group B runners-up ahead of Mauritania on goal difference with the two nations having played out a goalless draw earlier in the group stage. However, anything less than victory would see Mauritania advance, as Madagascar currently sit three points below them in the table.
Burkina Faso are already eliminated after winning one and losing two of their three group matches, but they have nothing to lose and should play with a welcome level of freedom, which makes them a real threat from an attacking perspective. Whilst Madagascar will be favourites and their intensity, not to mention desire could overwhelm Burkina Faso, it would be no surprise to see the latter find the net at some stage.
