Buriram United vs Melbourne City prediction

In the first-leg of this AFC Champions League round of 16 tie in Melbourne, Victoria last week, Melbourne City snatched what was a reasonably impressive 1-1 draw with Buriram United, courtesy of a late Benjamin Mazzeo equaliser deep into second-half stoppage-time.

Since then, Buriram have continued their excellent domestic form, having annihilated Nakhon Ratchasima by three goals to nil, while the Australians have been very inconsistent in the bottom-half of the A League this season.

Buriram were favourites for the tie and there will be concern that, despite having snatched a draw, City missed their opportunity to topple the Thai giants last week.
