Bristol City vs Preston prediction

Liam Manning and his Bristol City side had propelled themselves into the top six as a result of a run of form whereby they had suffered just two defeats in 16 Championship matches but the Robins now come into this one on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Luton Town at Kenilworth Road before then being annihilated by four goals to nil at Elland Road by Leeds United.

They now face a Preston North End side that, coached by former Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom, have seemingly taken the last couple of months of the season and they now head into the final day with a real chance of being relegated to League One. The Lancastrians suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Plymouth Argyle at Deepdale last weekend.

Bristol City need to simply put their last two performances behind them and, frankly, should get themselves over the line and leave Preston waiting on results going their way elsewhere.
