Brisbane Roar have endured a fairly miserable A League campaign as they continue to languish down at the bottom end of the table ahead of facing the Wellington Phoenix this weekend.

Brisbane Roar vs Wellington Phoenix prediction

Brisbane Roar come into this one on the back of 1-1 draw with Adelaide United in their most recent outing at Suncorp Stadium in Queensland the other day with Abubakar scoring a 59th minute equaliser in that game for the hosts. They have struggled throughout the campaign with just three victories in their 24 matches so far this season.

The Wellington Phoenix finished as runners’ up in last year’s regular season but the New Zealanders have struggled quite badly as they 11th in the table ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures, nine points above their upcoming opponents. They have most recently suffered back-to-back 3-2 defeats to Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United ahead of this one.

Neither of these sides have been overly convincing for this one and it should end up being quite an open and entertaining encounter with both teams scoring looking a good bet.
