The prediction
The Brisbane Lions come into this one on the back of a 35-point defeat of Richmond last week, making it back-to-back victories since a 27-point defeat to AFL ladder leaders Fremantle at the back end of last month.
They now face a Sydney Swans side that are trying to keep pace with Fremantle at the top, sitting a win behind them after 14 matches thus far. The Swans most recently edged past Port Adelaide after a narrow win against St Kilda.
Sydney have now enjoyed a couple of slender victories but their performance level hasn’t been great and so siding with the defending champions Brisbane may well be a decent bet for this one.
