The prediction
The Brisbane Lions have been inconsistent at times this season in the defence of their AFL title. The Queenslanders are finishing the campaign well as they come into this one on the back of a 67-point hammering of Hawthorn last week.
The Gold Coast SUNS did manage to edge their way to a slender and dramatic victory against the GWS Giants at the Manuka Oval last week as they seek to finish their season with a flourish after missing out on the top ten and the play-off places.
That win against Hawthorn means that Brisbane have now won eight of their last nine matches and they will be expected to ease to another victory here at The Gabba on Saturday.
