The prediction

Defending their AFL crown, the Brisbane Lions have been more inconsistent than they would have liked with seven victories and four defeats. The Queenslanders head into this one on the back of back-to-back losses against Geelong and the GWS Giants.

Fremantle, captained by Alex Pearce, have been extremely impressive in this campaign as they sit four clear of the Sydney Swans ahead of this week after Sydney lost last week with Freo managing a 30-point victory over St Kilda.

Fremantle are the favourites for this one, with ten wins from 11 matches, but it should be a high-scoring clash between two strong sides at The Gabba.
