Brentford are chasing European football for the first time ever as the Bees take on a Wolverhampton Wanderers side that are showing some fight down at the bottom.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Sky Sports / USA – USA Network

How to watch online: UK – Sky Go / USA – Hulu+

Brentford preview: Buzzing for Europe

Brentford come into this one on the back of succumbing to a penalty shootout defeat to West Ham United in the fifth round of the FA Cup last weekend but it may well aid them in narrowing their focus on securing European qualification in the Premier League.

The Bees, with Keith Andrews at the helm, most recently shared a goalless draw with AFC Bournemouth as they begin the weekend sitting tucked inside the top seven and just four points behind fifth and the likely UEFA Champions League spot.

Wolves preview: Showing fight

Wolverhampton Wanderers are destined for a return to the Championship but Rob Edwards is earning some credit ahead of the second-tier campaign as they head into this one on the back of back-to-back victories.

Having defeated Aston Villa by two goals to nil, Wolves then pulled off a last-gasp victory against Liverpool at Molineux, a few days before losing 3-1 to the Reds in the FA Cup last weekend.

Brentford team news: Henry out

Keith Andrews has said that left-back Rico Henry will now be out for 'numerous weeks', with the Irishman not yet giving a date on a return for the defender.

Reiss Nelson was sidelined against West Ham but he could return, while the likes of Aaron Hickey, Antoni Milambo, Vitaly Janelt and Fabio Carvalho are all also unavailable.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Kelleher; Kayode, Ajer, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter; Henderson, Yarmolyuk; Ouattara, Jensen, Schade; Thiago

Unavailable: Hickey (Injured), Henry (Injured), Milambo (Injured), Dasilva (Fitness), Janelt (Injured), Carvalho (Injured)

Questionable: Nelson (Injured)

Wolves team news: Hopeful on Sa

Portuguese goalkeeper Jose Sa remains a doubt for this one but Rob Edwards has said he is hopeful on the shot stopper, but there are no other fresh concerns for the visitors.

Andre back from suspension and will be expected to regain his place in the middle of the park alongside Brazil international teammate Joao Gomes.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Sa; Doherty, S. Bueno, Krejci; Tchatchoua, J. Gomes, Andre, Wolfe; Mane, A. Gomes; Armstrong

Unavailable: Chiwome (Injured), Gonzalez (Injured)

Questionable: Sa (Injured)

Brentford vs Wolves prediction

Wolves have suffered just one defeat in their last five matches in the Premier League, having played half of the top six in that run of form. They remain well adrift of safety at the bottom-of-the-table. With their home advantage, Brentford will be expected to come out on top but it may not be straightforward and both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one at the Gtech Community Stadium, albeit with the result still favouring the hosts.

Brentford vs Wolves tip: Brentford to win & both teams to score
