Brandon Nakashima vs Ethan Quinn prediction

Ethan Quinn surged beyond the challenge of Chris O’Connell to set up an all-American second round clash with Brandon Nakashima.

The wildcard was too solid and consistent for the Aussie as he ran out a comfortable 6-3 6-2 winner. 

Quinn now faces 14th seed Nakashima, who has been posting some regular quarter-final runs of late as he bids to crack the top 30 again.

The 21-year-old Quinn has the forehand and serve to do damage here, but Nakashima is equally consistent and perhaps has a more solid overall game.

It could be a battle but we expect the seeded American to emerge from the dust with a place in the round of 16 in his back pocket.
