Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim prediction

Borussia Dortmund are in for a real challenge here, particularly their backline against a free-scoring Hoffenheim whose Bundesliga ascent sees them now just two points behind Niko Kovac’s men. Last weekend saw them not only win again, but also score three goals again, which they’ve now done in five of their last six league games, all of which they’ve won.

The gap between Dortmund and table toppers Bayern Munich is now a daunting 12 points after the Rekordmeister thrashed Stuttgart by five goals to nil on Saturday. With that in mind, Kovac’s men need to win this match and if they have to meet fire with fire from an attacking perspective, then so be it. In Serhou Guirassy, Dortmund boast one of the best strikers in Europe and Hoffenheim will struggle to keep him quiet.

This has all the makings of being a thrilling contest with plenty of action and entertainment. It would be a surprise if we didn’t see a significant number of goals and backing over 2.5 goals of them, along with both teams to score appears a smart move.

Borussia Dortmund vs Hoffenheim tip: Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score
