Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt will believe they can be a threat to anyone in the harsh conditions of the Arctic Circle in November, as they face Italian giants Juventus.

Bodo/Glimt preview: Strong Bodo

Under the management of Kjetil Knutsen, Bodo/Glimt have been extremely strong in recent seasons, even reaching the semi-finals of last season’s UEFA Europa League, and they are well placed to finish in the top 24 of this league phase.

The Norwegians remain winless from their opening four matches but they have been very competitive. They were, though, frustratingly beaten 1-0 by an inconsistent Monaco side in Norway the other week.

Juventus preview: Indifferent Juve

Last month, due to a very poor run of results, Juventus took the decision to part company with Igor Tudor and he was replaced by Luciano Spalletti, who has brought about a minor improvement.

However, that improvement has been minor and they most recently floundered to a 1-1 draw against struggling and still winless rivals Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi in Serie A at the weekend.

Bodo/Glimt team news: Gundersen suspended

Johann Maurtsad Gundersen is missing through suspension for the host this midweek, whilst versatile attacker Ola Brynhildsen is unavailable due to injury.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Khaikin; Sjovold, Moe, Bjortuft, Bjorkan; Evjen, Berg, Fet; Auklend, Hogh, Hauge

Unavailable: Gundersen (Suspended), Brynhildsen (Injured)

Questionable:

Juventus team news: Rugani now out

Daniele Rugani is now missing through injury for the Bianconeri due to a calf issue. He is one of two centre-backs sidelined, with Bremer also unavailable for the visitors.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Gatti, Koopmeiners; Cambiaso, Locatelli, Thuram, McKennie; Conceicao, Yildiz; Vlahovic

Unavailable: Pinsoglio (Injured), Bremer (Injured), Rugani (Injured), Milik (Injured)

Questionable:

Bodo/Glimt vs Juventus prediction

Kjetil Knutsen’s best performances in Europe have come by exploiting opponents’ weaknesses when playing in the extreme conditions of the Aspymra Stadion. They face a Juve side that will, with their personnel and Spalletti in charge, always want to try and play the ball on the ground and that may hurt them as they fight for a result against Bodo. A good value bet could be to side with the hosts.

Bodo/Glimt vs Juventus Tip: Double chance – Bodo/Glimt to win or draw
