Birmingham vs Crawley prediction

Last weekend, Birmingham City won the third-tier title without playing as Wrexham dropped points away at Wigan Athletic. However, the following day, they were denied the lower league double as they suffered a 2-0 defeat to Peterborough United in the final of the EFL Trophy at Wembley Stadium as Posh became the first team to ever defend the competition.

Crawley Town have shown signs of improvement since the return of Scott Lindsey but the Red Devils remain tucked inside the bottom four and the relegation places, beginning Good Friday sitting six points adrift of safety with just four games to go. They were beaten 3-1 at home by Leyton Orient last weekend to more or less put the final nail in the coffin.

Birmingham are 11 points adrift of Reading’s record 106-point tally, set in the 2005/06 Championship season, with 18 to play for. Crawley are open and like to attack so a high-scoring home win is to be expected.

Birmingham vs Crawley tip: Birmingham to win -1 handicap
