Barbora Krejcikova produced her best level of an injury hit season so far in her most recent event, as she reached the quarter-finals of the US Open for the second time in her career. This followed a run to the round-of-16 in Cincinnati and the two time Grand Slam champion now has seven wins from her last nine matches. A back injury meant Krejcikova could only make her first appearance of 2025 in May, but she is now seemingly finding some form.

While she does have two titles on the ITF circuit this season, she has featured in just one previous WTA Tour match in 2025, and that was a defeat in the first-round of the ATX Open.
