Barbora Krejcikova vs Emma Raducanu prediction
Barbora Krejcikova breezed through her first-round match at the Korea Open as she defeated Tatiana Prozorova 6-1 6-2. The Czech was not broken on serve and won 80% of her first serve points as she wrapped up a victory after one hour and 16 minutes. The two-time Grand Slam champion now has eight wins from her last 10 matches and is performing at her highest level since returning from injury in May.
She will now take on Great Britain’s Emma Raducanu for a place in the last eight. Raducanu overcame a 3-1 deficit against Jaqueline Cristian in both sets to win 6-3 6-4 after two hours and two minutes, in what was her first match since the US Open. The Briton benefited from an error-strewn display from Cristian, who committed 38 unforced errors and could only convert three of 15 break point opportunities.
Raducanu overcame a tough test in round one, but Krejcikova is finding some form right now and is likely to prove too difficult a challenge.
